If you haven’t heard of homegrown menswear label WanderWonder, now’s as good a time as any to visit their new retail store located at 65A Haji Lane. Best known for its quality oxford shirts and brogue shoes, WanderWonder will be unveiling a new collection of shirts and shoes with the opening of its new flagship store.
Shoppers can expect designs by founders Kenny Ong and Lenz Fan, as well as premium leather products that the duo has jointly created with international brands such as Viberg Boot and Tellason Denim, accessories from Tanner Goods and tote bags from Bexar Goods Co.
Keeping true to the label’s philosophy, the store is minimalist and retains a touch of the rustic, largely due to the 1960s Burmese teak flooring. The founders believe that having an independent brick and mortar store helps to strengthen the brand’s image. “Planning for and setting up a store was hard work, but we’re glad to have finally found our label a home. We have a lot of ideas that we hope to execute”, said Ong.
WanderWonder has other plans for the label this year, which includes growing the brand’s online presence and stocking in other parts of the region. We will definitely be following the label’s expansion closely, won’t we?
About WanderWonder
WanderWonder is a young Singaporean explorative menswear label that bridges the gap between ‘high street’ and ‘luxury fashion’. The designers believe in making functional clothes with detailed twists and forms, striving towards classic ‘imperfections’, resulting in individual looks that are unexpected but still completely relevant to contemporary daily wear.
