This festive season, shop and do good all at the same time at UNIFEM Buy To Save 2011, a designer fashion event happening on the 3rd and 4th December. Buy To Save 2011 aims to raise funds in aid of women and girls in Singapore who are at risk from violence, abuse and exploitation.
In partnership with Mastercard, Singapore Tatler Magazine and Club 21, Buy To Save 2011 is a two-day event where second-hand designer clothing, shoes and handbags will be sold from just $10 to $200.
Our team was invited to head down to snap some preview shots of what will be on sale this Saturday. Take it from us when we say that most of the items are absolutely lustworthy AND going for pocket-friendly prices. Balenciaga, Gucci, Lanvin, Marc Jacobs, Paul Smith, Chloe, Louis Vuitton and 7 for All Mankind are just some of the brands that will be on sale. Several celebrities such as Channel NewsAsia anchors, Timothy Go and Melissa Hyak, Mediacorp actresses Jesseca Liu and Debra Teng, have also donated their pre-loved designer garments.

In addition, for every purchase made at Buy to Save with a Mastercard card, Mastercard will make a $2 donation to UNIFEM Funds raised from the event. All proceeds will go towards benefiting the Beautiful People mentoring program, the Andrew & Grace Home for at-risk young girls and the residents at Star Shelter.
