The gender divide is usually fodder for heated debate, but this Valentine’s Day, cede gracefully to the differences between the fairer and not-so-fair sexes at Skyve Elementary Bistro and Bar.
Chef Vincent Teng creates two menus this Valentine’s Day, each specially designed for either gender. The “Yours Truly” 4-course menus hearken back to the romantic knight and damsel aesthetic; fare “For Him” comprises robust, bolder tastes while dishes “For Her” feature delicate, airier flourishes of flavour. Of course, there’s nothing stopping tenacious maidens or chivalrous gentlemen from sticking their forks into their partner’s dishes for a quick taste of the Other Side.
Couples can also opt for a libationary add-on – for an additional $20 to the base price of $80++ per person, you get a glass of sparkling red, red wine, or white wine.
This special is only available for dinner (6.30pm to last order at 10.30pm) on the 14th of February 2012. Skyve is located at 10 Winstedt Road, Block E, #01-17, Singapore 227977. For reservations, call 6225 6690 or email enquiry@skyve.sg. For more information, visit www.skyve.sg.
