With a history of Mariah Carey, Daughtry and Linkin Park, the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix has not disappointed in bringing the biggest musical acts to Singapore.
And yes the word is out, because Maroon 5 will be hyping your moves this September at the Padang stage at this year’s Singapore Grand Prix. Making their third concert here in SIngapore, the multiple Grammy-award winner will headline the Saturday races at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
We would not say that Maroon 5 have not had an uneventful year. After their album, ‘Hands All Over’, they have been busy touring the world promoting their latest music from their third studio album. Still, frontman Adam Levine has not been out from the spotlight. Together with the band, they have churned out the smash hit ‘Moves Like Jagger’ with Christina Aguilera, conquering one mobile ringtone one by one. Of course, they swooned at the Victoria Secrets Fashion Show last year. Most recently, the band performed at the 54th Grammy doing a tribute to the Beach Boys. Their appeal? ‘Nuff Said
Levine has also set hearts aflame as a vocal coach and judge on the hit television series The Voice. We will not deny that more often than not, we sat for hours on end watching the reality show just to swoon over the sweet crooner. You mean that there were contestants on the show? Oops, we were busy staring elsewhere.
Having sold over 17 million albums worldwide, 3 Grammy Awards and topping the Billboard charts numerously, Formula One fans can expect nothing but an adrenaline-charged show on Saturday with Maroon 5′s greatest hits and more. The tnetry to the concert at the Padang stage in Zone 4 is free with any three day 2012 Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand prix ticket!
