I was given the opportunity to shoot with the La Sardina by Lomography for two weeks – I brought it everywhere I went – to my meetings, events, and even to dinner with my friends. For a novice, the lomo camera was user friendly and compact enough to be brought around. It was a refreshing change from handling point&shoots and DSLR – i remember standing at the media tent of an event and shooting with my camera. A photographer with his gigantic lens looked at me oddly, then said “That’s funky. What publication are you from, again?” We ended up chatting the night away and he told him about how he collects Lomo cameras in his spare time. That’s what La Sardina gave me – good conversations, new friends.
