The Kérastase Limited Edition Elixir Ultime.

On the hair front, we start the year with an exciting collaboration between luxury hair care line Kérastase and Yaz Bukey. Here comes the birth of the Kérastase Elixir Ultime Limited Edition, a combination of a bestselling beauty oil housed in a unique Moucharabieh design.

The Kérastase Elixir Ultime has won global awards for its effectiveness and it is used by celebrities all over the world. Meant for all hair types, the product is a multi-treatment purpose booster that contains Oléo-Complexe Technology, which blends together four oils extremely beneficial to our hair. These are none other than the rare Argan Oil, Maize Oil rich in vitamins A, E and omega 6, anti-oxidant rich Pracaci Oil and Camellia Oil that sooths hair strands.

Yaz.

What makes the Kérastase Elixir Ultime Limited Edition so special is that there are only 2500 of it available worldwide. Thanks to the indigenous idea conceived in the mind of Yaz – great grand daughter of the King of Egypt and founder of French label Yaz Bukey – of imprinting the Mashrabiya onto gold, you can now be one of the privileged few to own it. From the mouth of Yaz herself: “Elixir Ultime is like a jewellery piece by itself. The fact that it is a massive gold makes the product unique and exokes its main features. It was interesting to imagine Elixir Ultime behind the walls of an Ottoman palace, as part of the Turkish bath ritual that belongs to my culture.”

Kérastase Elixir Ultime Limited Edition will be available from February 2012 and retail at $62 at all Kérastase consultant salons.
